The Lock-Jaw Oly 2 is made by Lock-Jaw, the company that pioneered the lever-locking barbell collar, and it replaces the spring clip as the standard for anyone training with real weight. A one-piece lever body clamps down on the sleeve and holds plates firmly through cleans, drops, and heavy sets.

Description
Spring collars are fine until they are not. They slip on kipping transitions, wander during cleans, and turn every plate change into a small wrestling match. The Lock-Jaw Oly 2 replaces that with a uni-body lever: slide it onto the sleeve, close the lever, and the collar clamps down against the plates. Open it and it comes straight off, in a fraction of the time a spring clip takes.
Lock-Jaw builds the Oly 2 with a resin frame and elastomer pads that protect both the bar's sleeve finish and the plates while still gripping firmly. It fits standard Olympic bars with 2" (50mm) sleeves and comes as a pair, so a single order covers a full barbell. Lock-Jaw also sells a step-up PRO 2 model with additional holding power for bumper-plate and CrossFit-style training; the Oly 2 is the everyday collar for standard Olympic and powerlifting use.
