Freemotion Fitness

Freemotion pioneered cable-based strength training and reshaped commercial cardio when the brand — originally founded in 1999 as Ground Zero in Colorado Springs, Colorado — introduced free, natural cable-driven movement patterns instead of fixed-plane machines. After being acquired by ICON Fitness (now iFIT), the company rebranded as Freemotion and released the original Incline Trainer, capable of inclines up to 30% and burning significantly more calories than a standard treadmill — a category-defining machine still found in health clubs and training facilities today. Freemotion also introduced the world's first road-simulating bike, further cementing its reputation for movement-based innovation. Now operating as Freemotion from iFIT, the brand continues to build cardio equipment trusted by commercial gyms worldwide.
