Dumbbell Pairs by the Set in Three Styles
Body-Solid dumbbell sets package pairs in 5 lb increments in three constructions: SDX gray cast iron hex, SDR rubber-encased hex and SDP round rubber. Pick a 5-50, 55-75 or 80-100 lb range in any style, or add 105-120 lb rubber hex pairs.

Description
The SDX hex dumbbells are cast from ASTM grade 20 gray iron with heads permanently fixed to the handle with high carbon roll pins; dumbbells 15 lb and heavier use extra-thick, knurled steel alloy handles. SDR rubber hex dumbbells use solid cast iron heads with a machined chrome handle welded through a cast hole, then over-molded in virgin rubber that resists cracking and protects floors. SDP round rubber dumbbells follow the same welded, over-molded construction with chrome-plated knurled handles, 29 mm on lighter sizes up to 34 mm on 55-100 lb.
Each set includes one pair of every weight in its range: 5-50 lb sets contain 20 dumbbells (550 lb), 55-75 lb sets contain 10 dumbbells (650 lb), 80-100 lb sets contain 10 dumbbells (900 lb), and the 105-120 lb rubber hex set contains 8 dumbbells (900 lb). Racks are sold separately.
