Plate-Loaded Cables on a Rack That Folds Flat

The Profile PRO Sidewinder pairs the patented PRx folding squat rack with Dialed Motion's Sidewinder cable system. You get a dual-sided, plate-loaded functional trainer that folds against the wall when the session is over.

It is the right pick if you want cable training without a weight stack's price or bulk, and you already own plates. Available in 95", 89" and 81" upright heights and six powder coat colors.

Key Features

Wall-Mounted and Folding
The rack and cable system fold flat to the wall, so the floor goes back to being floor.
3-Sided Sliding Trolley
Moves from the lowest locking hole to the highest, held magnetically in place or lifted off the upright entirely.
250 lb Per Side
Plate-loaded weight posts with 13.75" of usable length take serious load on both cables.
No Added Height
The upper arm integrates into the rack without raising the machine, which matters under a low ceiling.
1,000 lb Rack Capacity
3" x 3" 11-gauge uprights built for heavy squats, presses and pull-ups.
Long Cable Travel
70" on the 95" rack, 64" on the 89" and 56" on the 81" for full-range pulldowns and rows.
Precision Hole Spacing
5/8" holes on 2" centers, tightened to 1" through the bench area.
J-Cups Included
Heavy-duty J-cups ship with every PRx rack purchase.

Description

A functional trainer usually costs you a wall for good. The Profile PRO Sidewinder does not. PRx built its reputation on a squat rack that folds to a few inches of wall depth, and this version keeps that promise while adding a dual-sided cable system developed with Dialed Motion.

The engineering shows in the details. The upper arm is shaped to sit inside the rack's existing envelope rather than stacking on top of it, so you lose no ceiling clearance. The redesigned three-sided trolley glides the full length of the upright and holds position magnetically, and it lifts off entirely when you need to move it past the lower linkage arms. Changing from a lat pulldown to a low row to a chest fly takes seconds, not a walk across a gym floor.

Because it is plate-loaded rather than selectorized, you set the resistance with the plates you already own, up to 250 lbs per side. The weight posts give 13.75" of usable length. Cable travel runs 70" on the 95" rack, which is enough for a genuine overhead pulldown and a full-extension row.

Pair it with the PRx Axis Pad and Knee Keeper for pulldowns, or the Profile Incline Weight Bench for seated flys and presses, and the exercise list runs to belt squats, leg curls and extensions, preacher curls, crossover reverse flys, military press and cable crunches. Check the ceiling height guide below to pick the right upright height for your room.
