Self-Powered Running. No Cord Required.
The Tru Grit Grit Runner is a 100% manually operated curved treadmill. There is no motor and no power cord: your stride drives the belt, so the harder you push, the faster it moves. Six levels of resistance take it from light running resistance up to sled-push intensity, and a battery-powered LCD tracks your workout without needing an outlet.
Key Features
Levels 1–2 for running, 3–4 for walking and 5–6 for sled-push training.
Motor-less, cordless and self-propelled. Place it anywhere, no outlet needed.
Tracks time, distance, pace, speed, calories and watts, with interval training modes.
Built from commercial-grade structural steel and aluminum.
19" x 64" tread that rotates in both directions.
330 lbs (150 kg)
Description
The curved running surface rewards quick, efficient strides with a mid-foot and toe strike, which makes the Grit Runner a useful tool for working on cadence, posture and balance. Because the belt only moves when you do, it naturally pushes you to work harder than a motorized treadmill set to a fixed pace.
Resistance is set with a lever on the frame. Lower levels suit running and sprint intervals, middle levels suit incline-style walking, and the top levels replicate pushing a sled. The battery-powered LCD displays time, distance, pace, speed, calories and watts, and includes interval training modes.
The Grit Runner is built for gym floors but works just as well at home, in a garage or in a basement, for training through cold winters, hot summers, or simply mixing up your running routine. Minimal assembly is required.
Grit Runner vs. Grit Runner Elite
The Grit Runner has six resistance levels, a wider 19" bidirectional tread and a 330 lb user capacity. The Grit Runner Elite has four stronger resistance levels, Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, a smaller 14.5 sq ft footprint and a longer warranty on the belts, tread and monitor.
