The Tru Grit Grit Runner Elite is the redesigned version of the original Grit Runner, built from feedback from Grit Runner owners and gym operators. It is fully self-powered, with four levels of resistance that range from light resistance to an intense sled-push replication, and a battery-powered LCD with Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity so you can log workouts in your favorite running apps.

Description
The Runner Elite's proprietary belt system uses a primary transmission wheel, a secondary transmission wheel and a magnetic resistance assembly, so you can tailor each session from easy running to heavy sled-style pushes. The independent battery-powered LCD tracks calories, distance and interval times, and Bluetooth and ANT+ let you log and store your results in apps such as Kinomap, Zwift and Gymtrakr.
Tru Grit redesigned the curved running platform to improve comfort for the ankle joints and reduce impact. The tread slats are a mix of polypropylene and polyurethane riding on a durable TPU lateral track belt, and swivel, adjustable rubber feet compensate for uneven floors. A ground wire prevents static shock, and a water bottle holder sits on the left arm panel.
Because it is manually operated, the Runner Elite provides a more demanding workout than an electric treadmill. Tru Grit states it burns a minimum of 30% more calories than a motorized treadmill.
