It's a type of upright drilling that places holes close together in the bench press area, allowing for very granular control of bar placement.
Are there extensions for the retractable rack so it can extend farther from the wall than 25 inches when in use?
No, that is as far as the rack extends and we don't have a way for it to extend farther.
Is the depth of the retractable power rack sufficient for kipping pull ups, muscle ups and butterflies for someone 5'8"?
Not typically as the rack tends to be fairly shallow.
Are the uprights supposed to rest on the ground when extended or are they intended to hover above the ground?
They should be resting on the ground when fully extended.
Can any rack be converted to a foldable / retractable rack?
It is usually not possible to convert a regular rack to one that is retractable, due to how each rack is constructed.
