Synchrony Bank financing
Build now, pay over time
Financing through Synchrony Bank on purchases of $500 or more. Pay the balance in full within 18 months and you pay no interest at all. You can check whether you prequalify in seconds without affecting your credit score.
What you need to pay each month
Drag to set your purchase total.
This is your purchase divided by the term - the payment that clears the balance before interest can apply. Synchrony's required minimum payment will be lower than this, and paying only that may leave a balance at the end of the promotion. Your actual terms are set by Synchrony at approval.
How the promotion works
This is a deferred interest offer, not a 0% loan. Pay the promotional balance in full within 9-18 months and you are charged no interest at all.
If any balance is left when the promotion expires, interest is charged at 29.99% APR calculated from the original purchase date, on the entire purchase amount - not just the part still outstanding. On a large equipment order that can be a significant sum.
Interest accrues quietly in the background the whole time and appears on each monthly statement, but it is only ever billed to you if the balance is not cleared in time. The estimator above shows the payment that clears it. Synchrony's minimum payment is lower than that figure, so paying only the minimum is the common way people end up owing the interest.
How it works
You can check your options before committing to anything, and prequalifying does not touch your credit score.
Takes seconds and does not affect your credit score. You find out where you stand before committing to a full application.
If the numbers work, complete the secure application. You get an instant credit decision.
Approved applicants receive a temporary account number they can use straight away, in store or against your order.
Clear the promotional balance within 18 months and you pay no interest. Set your own payment amount rather than relying on the minimum.
What the card gets you
The Synchrony Sport Credit Card is a revolving line, not a one-time loan against a single purchase.
Clear the promotional balance inside the window and the purchase costs you nothing extra.
Pay it down as fast as you like. Synchrony charges nothing extra for settling early.
Every statement shows the accrued deferred interest and the promotional expiration date, so you are never guessing.
Set up to 12 future payments in advance, or use Autopay, from your Synchrony account.
Not a single-purchase loan. Use it again for accessories, a second machine, or your next room.
Access to exclusive, cardholder-only promotions.
Common questions
Is there a minimum purchase?
Yes. Purchases of $500 or more qualify for the 18-month promotional financing. Approval and your credit limit are set by Synchrony.
What happens at the end of the 18 months?
If you have paid the promotional balance in full, nothing - the purchase cost you no interest.
If any balance remains, interest is charged from the original purchase date on the entire purchase amount, not just the part you still owe. That is what deferred interest means, and it is the single most important thing to understand about this offer.
What if I only make the minimum payment?
Synchrony is explicit about this: the required minimum monthly payment may or may not pay off the balance before the promotion ends, depending on the purchase amount, the promotion length and how payments are allocated.
In plain terms - paying only the minimum is the usual way people end up owing the interest. Use the estimator at the top of this page to find the payment that actually clears the balance in time, and treat that as your target instead.
Does checking my options affect my credit score?
Prequalifying does not. Synchrony gives you a decision in seconds with no impact to your credit score, so you can see where you stand first.
Submitting a full application does involve a credit check. That is Synchrony's process, not ours - we do not see your credit file and we do not make the decision.
Can I pay it off early?
Yes, and there is no penalty for doing so. Paying ahead of the expiration date is the safest way to use a deferred interest promotion.
How do I know if I am on track?
Your monthly statement has a Promotional Purchase Summary showing the promotional balance, the expiration date, and the deferred interest that has accrued so far. That accrued figure is not billed to you unless the balance is unpaid at expiration - treat it as the running total of what you avoid by finishing on time.
Can I use financing on delivery and installation?
Ask us when you order. What the card can cover on a given order is worth confirming before you assume it.
I am buying for a gym or a facility. Can I use this?
The Synchrony Sport card is a consumer product. Commercial orders are quoted individually - get in touch and we will walk through the options for your organization.
Where do I make payments?
Through your Synchrony account portal, by mail, or with Autopay. Fitness Supply does not service the account, so billing questions go to Synchrony directly.
