Service and maintenance
Service and repair
Certified technicians for cardio, strength and functional equipment - whether you bought it from us or not. Book a one-off repair, or put your facility on a preventative maintenance contract so problems get caught before they take a machine off the floor.
Residential service rates
Published up front so you can work out the cost before you book.
Based on distance from our Idaho Falls warehouse. Charged on every visit.
Our rate for equipment you purchased from Fitness Supply.
We still service it. We just have no history with the machine, so it takes longer.
If we diagnose but do not repair, you pay travel plus the diagnostic fee only. $35 if the equipment was bought elsewhere.
How billing works
- Time is billed from arrival to completion, covering both diagnosis and repair.
- Minimum charge is $90.
- Fees are collected at each visit.
- The area around the equipment must be clear and accessible before the technician arrives.
- If we cannot repair the machine, we may credit up to $75 toward a replacement. This is at our discretion and is not guaranteed.
Commercial service
Commercial work is quoted case by case. Rates depend on your equipment list, how hard the floor gets used, site access and how often you need us - so we price the job rather than publish a number that would not survive contact with your building.
Scheduled visits on an agreed cycle so wear gets caught before a machine goes down. Priced on your equipment list, how hard the floor gets used, and how often you want us on site.
Quoted per siteA single call-out on a commercial floor. Tell us the make, model and fault and we will come back with a scope and a price before anyone is dispatched.
Quoted per jobWe walk the floor, inventory what you have, and report on condition, expected remaining life and what needs attention first. Useful before you budget a refresh.
Quoted per siteApartment portfolios, hotel groups, school districts and franchise operators with equipment in more than one building, covered under a single agreement.
Quoted per portfolioMoving a floor, reconfiguring a room, or installing equipment bought elsewhere. Includes disassembly, transport and rebuild.
Quoted per jobParts sourcing and manufacturer warranty claims handled on your behalf, whether or not the equipment came from us.
Quoted per jobWhat we handle
Service is not just repairs. Most of what keeps a facility running happens before anything breaks.
Certified technicians on cardio, strength and functional equipment. We diagnose the fault, quote the fix, and carry common wear parts on the van where we can.
Scheduled preventative maintenance under contract for gyms, hotels, multifamily, schools and corporate facilities.
Warranty work is covered by the manufacturer, not by us. We open the claim, coordinate the parts and the labor, and deal with the brand on your behalf so you are not chasing it.
We source parts for the brands we carry, including for machines out of warranty. Send us the model number and the fault and we will tell you what is available.
Assembly and setup for equipment you bought elsewhere, or a full floor build from crate to commissioning.
Moving a machine to another room, another floor, or out of the building entirely. Quoted per job.
Common questions
Why is commercial pricing not listed?
Because a published hourly rate would be misleading. A twelve-piece hotel fitness room and a twenty-four hour gym running three hundred members a day are different jobs, with different visit frequencies, different parts exposure and different access constraints.
Send us the equipment list and the site details and you get a real number rather than a starting-from figure that changes once we arrive.
Do you service equipment I did not buy from you?
Yes. Residential is $160 per hour plus a $35 diagnostic, versus $90 per hour plus $25 for equipment bought from us. The difference is time - we have no purchase history, no build record and no parts already on file for a machine that came from somewhere else.
Commercial work is quoted regardless of where the equipment came from.
What if you cannot fix it?
You still pay the travel and diagnostic fees for the visit, because the technician's time was spent either way.
If the machine is genuinely beyond economical repair, we may credit up to $75 toward a replacement. That credit is at our discretion and is not guaranteed - ask about it before you assume it.
Is warranty work charged?
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer and varies by brand, and by whether the equipment is in residential or commercial use. What the manufacturer covers, they pay for.
Travel, labor outside the warranty terms, or work on a machine the manufacturer declines are billed at our normal rates. We will tell you which applies before we book the visit, not after.
Do you cover my area?
Standard rates apply across our regional service area - Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and Montana. We are not strictly limited to those states, but travel outside the region is priced per job.
If you are further out, send us the location and the equipment and we will quote it rather than turn you away.
What do I need to do before the technician arrives?
Clear access to the equipment. The area around the machine needs to be clear and reachable before the technician gets there - if it is not, the visit can end up rebooked and you still pay for the trip.
Having the model and serial number to hand also speeds things up considerably.
How is residential time billed?
From arrival to completion, covering both diagnosis and repair. Minimum charge is $90. Fees are collected at each visit.

Residential requests go through our service portal. For a commercial quote, send us the equipment list and the site details and we will come back with a scope and a price.
