Smooth Strokes. Total-Body Power.
Recognized as one of the top fitness activities, rowing has exploded into HIIT training as a true total-body exercise, and no one knows HIIT better than Throwdown. The Throwdown HIIT Rower uses isokinetic fan-based resistance ideal for rowing, since it accommodates the user's fitness level — the harder you pull, the more resistance the fan generates, making this a true HIIT workout.
Key Features
Air resistance that scales with your effort, plus a built-in fan dampening system that lets you increase or decrease workload at a given stroke rate.
Backlit LCD display showing 5 metrics at once, with 5 built-in and 5 customizable workout programs. Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity for heart rate straps, plus USB data upload.
Aluminum and heavy-gauge welded steel frame with an electrostatic powder coat finish; nickel-plated steel chain drive, partially enclosed.
Water bottle/accessory holder under the foot plates; disconnects at the center point for compact storage.
Description
The Throwdown HIIT Rower delivers isokinetic fan resistance that scales directly with your effort — pull harder and the fan spins against more air resistance, delivering a true HIIT-style workout. A built-in fan dampening system lets you dial workload up or down at a given stroke rate for even more training variety. The HIIT console features a backlit LCD display showing 5 metrics simultaneously, with 5 built-in and 5 customizable workout programs, plus Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity for heart rate strap pairing and USB data upload; it's powered by 2 C-cell batteries or an optional external power supply.
Built on an aluminum and heavy-gauge welded steel frame with an electrostatic powder coat finish, the HIIT Rower features a nickel-plated, partially enclosed steel chain drive and a 53.7" monorail. A water bottle and accessory holder sits beneath the foot plates, and the rower disconnects at its center point for compact storage between sessions.
