Description
The Body-Solid G5S is a club-quality multi-station gym built around the Perfect Pec™ Station, which uses a dual-cam design with independently swiveling arms for both unilateral and bilateral pressing and fly movements. Its Multi-Grip Press Arm delivers chest, incline, and shoulder press options, while the seated row station lets you work mid and lower back without sitting on the floor. Additional stations cover a high pulley (lat pulldown, triceps pressdown), a mid pulley (ab crunch, triceps extension, lateral fly), a low pulley (biceps curl, seated row, oblique bend, leg adduction/abduction, upright row, lateral deltoid raise), and a leg developer (leg extension, leg curl) built on the SmoothGlide Bearing System with self-aligning, contoured leg cuffs.
The frame is built from heavy-duty 12-gauge steel with a durable, electrostatically applied powder coat finish, and cable runs use 2,200 lb.-tension aircraft cable with a nylon sheath over impact-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced nylon pulleys. Extra-thick DuraFirm™ pads with lumbar support add comfort at every station. The gym ships with a lat bar, straight bar, ankle strap, ab/triceps strap, the Body-Solid Total Body Workout™ DVD, and a full-size exercise chart. Optional leg press/calf press (GLP) and inner/outer thigh (GIOT) attachments are sold separately; the frame has room for one such attachment at a time.
