Description
Training with a thick bar makes the hands work harder on every rep, which carries over to deadlifts, rows, carries and pulling strength. The OB86FG puts a 2" grip on a full-length Olympic bar, so it can be used for deadlifts, squats, bench presses, curls, cleans and bent-over rows with standard Olympic plates.
Because the thicker grip is harder to hold, most lifters start with lighter loads than on a standard bar. With a 29 lb bar weight and a 600 lb rating, it fits in a home or commercial rack alongside a standard Olympic bar.
