True Fitness

TRUE Fitness has been building commercial exercise equipment since 1981, when founder Frank Trulaske set out to build the highest-quality treadmill in the industry and back it with superior service — a philosophy that still guides the company today. TRUE is the largest privately-held commercial fitness equipment manufacturer in the United States, known for engineering innovations like the patented Soft System shock-absorption deck and HRC Heart Rate Control. TRUE was also one of the first companies to build a center-drive elliptical, and the first to add adjustable stride length to that design — features that are now industry standards. The company's cardio portfolio expanded further with its acquisition of Octane Fitness, adding low-impact recumbent ellipticals and Zero Runners to the TRUE family, and TRUE equipment remains a fixture in health clubs, hotels, and training facilities nationwide.
