The reinforced steel hubs are molded directly into the rubber with reinforcement rods, forming a chemical bond that keeps the hub from separating over time — unlike competitors that press the hub in after the rubber is molded, a method prone to eventual failure.

Description
The 25, 35, and 45 lb plates are built to the standard IWF 450mm (17.625") diameter, while the 10 lb plate is intentionally sized smaller and thicker than typical 10 lb bumpers to add strength where thin bumper plates are most prone to damage. Torque's proprietary manufacturing process molds a harder rubber near the core to lock the hub in place and prevent wobble over time, with a softer rubber on the outside to absorb impact and sound when the plate is dropped. The rubber is 100% virgin material that passes REACH and RoHS standards, holding true color that won't fade or discolor with use.
Raised lettering combined with color coding makes the weight easy to identify at a glance, and Torque holds these plates to a ±0.5% weight tolerance — tighter than the ±1-2% common among competitor plates. Sold in pairs or in packages.
