Built for Performance. Designed to Last.
This signature piece of gym equipment is designed specifically for high intensity, low impact exercise, but goes much deeper than that. Jacobs Ladder was put to the test by researchers in the School of Kinesiology at Louisiana State University who found that Jacobs Ladder was a scientifically superior workout. Users burned calories at a much higher pace with a lower perceived exertion rate when compared with treadmills. Plus, since it's a low impact exercise, it's possible to have a high-energy workout without significant strain on the body. Jacobs Ladder also is functional exercise, making it useful for rehabilitation, circuit training, personal training, high-intensity intervals and endurance training.
Key Features
Commercial Grade — engineered for high-traffic commercial environments
A continuous belt of solid maple rungs is driven entirely by your own climbing pace — no motor, no wall outlet required.
Reduces direct stress on the lower back, hips, and knees for a genuinely low-impact climb.
Tracks elapsed time, feet climbed, rate (feet/min), and calorie burn, with optional heart rate via chest strap.
Side rails provide stability for a feet-only workout when you're not climbing hand-over-hand.
Welded tubular steel frame with solid maple rungs built for daily commercial use.
Description
Unlike a treadmill or stepmill, the Jacobs Ladder has no motor at all — a continuous belt of solid maple rungs is driven entirely by the user's own climbing cadence at a fixed 40° angle. There's no speed setting to worry about; if you slow down, so does the ladder, making it naturally self-pacing and safe for users of every fitness level.
The digital console keeps you informed with elapsed time, feet climbed, rate in feet per minute, and calorie burn, with heart rate available via an optional chest strap. Side rails let you focus on a feet-only lower-body workout when you choose not to climb hand-over-hand, and the welded tubular steel frame with solid maple rungs is built to hold up to years of daily commercial use.
