A 1,200 lb Bench That Stores Upright

The PRx Razortooth Weight Bench is the heaviest-duty adjustable bench PRx builds. A galvanized steel ladder adjustment locks the backrest anywhere from flat to 85 degrees with zero slop, and the 1,200 lb capacity means the bench is never the limiting factor in your press.

Choose your configuration with the Style option above: Leg Roller for decline presses, sit-ups and anchored core work, or No Leg Roller for a cleaner footprint. Either way you get knurled steel handles, smooth wheels and a built-in bumper plate that holds the bench vertical for storage.

Key Features

1,200 lb Weight Capacity
Rated well past what all but a handful of lifters will ever press, so the bench stays solid at your heaviest.
Galvanized Steel Ladder System
The backrest drops into a positive lock at every angle, with no wobble and no creeping mid-set.
Seven Backrest Angles
0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 85 degrees covers flat pressing through seated overhead work.
Three Seat Angles
0, 15 and 30 degrees keep you from sliding down the pad on steep incline sets.
Optional Leg Rollers
The Leg Roller style unlocks decline presses, decline sit-ups and anchored ab work.
Handle and Wheel Transport
Knurled steel handles and smooth wheels let one person tip and roll 132 lb of bench across the gym.
Vertical Storage Bumper
A built-in bumper plate holds the bench upright against the wall so it takes up a fraction of the floor.
Sharkskin PVC Pad
Grippy under a sweaty back, easy to wipe clean, and tough enough to survive plates set down on it.

Description

Most adjustable benches make you choose. Commercial benches are immovable and pad gaps are an afterthought; light home benches shift under a real load. The Razortooth is PRx's answer: 132 lb of steel with a 1,200 lb rating and an adjustment mechanism that behaves like a rack pin rather than a ratchet.

The galvanized ladder is the reason. Instead of a friction catch, the backrest seats into cut steel teeth at each position. You feel it drop in, and it does not move again until you lift it out. Combined with three seat angles, that means a 45-degree incline actually holds you at 45 degrees instead of letting you slide toward the floor rep by rep.

Add the leg rollers and the bench covers decline presses and weighted sit-ups too, which is most of what people leave a home gym wishing they had. Skip them and you get a slightly leaner setup at a lower price. Both styles are on the Style option above.

When you are done, the knurled handles and wheels make it a one-person job to tip the bench up and roll it to the wall, where the integrated bumper plate keeps it standing on end. That is the PRx design philosophy in a single product: commercial capability that gives your floor space back at the end of the session.
