Description
FITX stands for Foot Impact Transfer System. It is a cushioning and stability system incorporated into the deck of the treadmill to provide better shock absorption. It cushions initial impact, where your foot hits the belt towards the front, and then transitions to a firm, secure surface for push-off, with added rigidity farther back. This provides more lateral stability throughout, eliminating deck shift from side to side. The benefit is less stress on the ankles, knees, hips, and back.
The Launch's robotically welded, heavy-gauge steel frame supports a low-maintenance belt running over 3" sealed-bearing end rollers, and contact heart rate monitoring keeps your stats visible on whichever UNITE console you choose.
